President of the SLSVS
Dear colleagues and friends,
We will gather in Colombo from the 21st to the 23rd of May 2026 for our Annual Congress SLSVS_26; the flagship event of our Society, SLSVS. This occasion has been outlined with a strong focus on academic excellence with your collaboration and support to enhance the knowledge and share the experience in vascular surgery.
Our theme for next year’s congress will be ‘Raising the bar’, to outline our efforts in elevating the level of vascular surgical care across the board.
Highlights of SLSVS_26 comprise a pre-congress workshop on cadaveric dissection of vascular access on fresh cadavers, an oration, free paper session, workshops, panel discussions and plenaries with the relevant experts in the field. In addition, we also have an exciting line-up of social events planned to introduce you to the rich culture of Sri Lanka and the vibrant atmosphere of Colombo.
Experts and professionals from across the globe will meet to share their expertise and pass on the knowledge to the next generation. We will have the opportunity of networking and expanding our borders as well as to strengthen our bonds of friendship and collaboration.
We hope our meeting will help us unite in our passion to enhance the specialty of vascular surgery and take our mission forward.
